SCOOCH represented the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest, beating tough competition from the likes of Justin Hawkins and Brian Harvey. The British public voted in their scores for Scooch to fly the flag!
After signing to Warner Bros ‘Flying The Flag (For You)’ stormed the UK charts to the number five position. To this day SCOOCH continue to hold the record for the highest charting UK Eurovision single in over 12 years… Since we last won the competition in 1997.
Originally formed in 1998, SCOOCH signed to EMI Records and gained four top twenty hits including the massive top five single ‘More Than I Needed to Know’, all culminating in the hit album ‘Four Sure’.
Worldwide SCOOCH scored number one singles in Japan and Australia and were top five across Europe.
