Alexa began presenting Popworld on April 22, 2006 alongside Alex Zane, taking over from previous presenters Miquita Oliver and Simon Amstell. Prior to this, Chung appeared in music videos for artists such as The Streets, Holly Valance and Westlife as well as a "scripted reality TV" micro-series for Fashion TV called 'Shoot Me' opposite Yasmin Le Bon, and numerous commercials and editorial shoots.
Earlier this year signed an exclusive deal to present for Channel 4. In addition to Popworld, she has already worked with the broadcaster on programmes such as Big Brother's Big Mouth and T4. Chung's new contract will mean that she will appear more on T4 alongside regular hosts Steve Jones and June Sarpong. Alexa's morning show FRESHLY SQUEEZED is seen weekdays 7-7.30am. Over Christmas Alexa will be brightening our screens, presenting from the beach in Australia with the T4 team.
Alexa co-presented this year's V Festival with George Lamb and was recently seen presenting the fabulous Fashion Rocks at the Royal Albert Hall
Her role within T4 continues into 2008 as the host of an exciting new reality show which aims to celebrate and challenge the notions of beauty and attractiveness. Each week a new group of people compete to be moved into the mansion, the one who gets accepted then gets to choose which original member gets the boot. The question is, after ten weeks will the winner epitomise what we traditionally see as attractive?
On top of all her other credentials Alexa has also been DJing at Universities, clubs and various fashion industry events.
