Los Campesinos! are a seven piece indie pop band from Cardiff, Wales that formed in early 2006 at Cardiff University. "Los Campesinos" roughly translates as "The Farmers" (or "The Peasants") in Spanish. They released their debut album, 'Hold on Now, Youngster... ' in February 2008 which brought no end of critical acclaim and led them to tour like crazy ever since. The band have recently released an EP, entitled 'We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed' and are planning a nationwide tour early in the new year.

The band are now available for DJ slots - being music geeks they are playing mainly off vinyl but are excited about trying new things on the crowd. Set wise they play a mixture of electro, dance, breaks, indie electro, pop and massively random stuff just to throw you off balance but make you want to smash up the dance floor with some kick ass moves.
