Ian Watkins DJ set is pretty different to the bands production style. Playing a cool electro tinged set with some indie electro remixes thrown in amongst a few surprise tunes from the likes of The Prodigy and Cypress Hill Ian has been amazing crowds both here and in the US.
Lost Prophets front man Ian Watkins and guitarist Mike Lewis grew up together in Welsh town Pontypridd just outside Cardiff. They began blending musical genres and experimenting with new sounds until finally finding a winning formula in an aggressive style of rock that mixed together their love of metal and pop. After adding Lee Gaze (guitar), Stuart Richardson (bass) and Mike Chiplin (drums) to the line up Lost Prophets were born. Over the years the band have had a couple of line up changes (Ilan Rubin replacing Mike Chiplin, adding Mike Lewis on bass and Jamie Oliver on keyboard) have topped the charts with numerous singles and albums, sold out stadium tours and more recently headlined festivals such as Download 08.
